Please contact us as soon as you are able to if you need to cancel a session or class.
Virtual/Online Kinesiology sessions: Any private session cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a late-cancellation fee of 75%. The only exception to this will be a medical issue or acute illness. To avoid this fee, please call us with at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a private Kinesiology session.
If a client does not show up for a private virtual/online Kinesiology session, the client will be charged the full amount for the session.
Private In-Person Kinesiology sessions: There will be no cancellation fees or restrictions for cancelling an in person session if you are feeling ill or have any symptoms of being ill. If an in-person visit needs to be cancelled within 24 hours for any other reason other than acute illness, please refer to the Virtual/Online Kinesiology session policy above.
Cancellation: Clients must cancel a booking in their Wellness Living Account 12 hours prior to the class to avoid a penalty. Penalty is the full price of the class. If cancelled 12 hours prior, you may rebook into any other class that week to use up your credit OR use the Roll Over Option as described below.
Amaze Active Health reserves the right to cancel classes 12 hours prior to their start time if we do not have our minimum numbers (5 including Online and In-Person) to host the class. Any remaining class participants will be notified of this cancellation and a credit for the class will be returned to their account to use another time. Often if an In-Person class is cancelled, the Online Class will still take place.
Although we request that you book early so we can keep classes open, clients can book a class up to 1 minute prior to an online class start time. The exception for this is the In-Person Rowing Classes since equipment is required and class space is limited. Please allow at least one full hour before class to book into an In-Person Rowing Class.
Clients may book single classes or recurring bookings up to 6 months in advance, even if that session has not been paid for yet. This is best utilized when you are auto renewing a membership.
All Amaze classes are now purchased and attended on a once or twice per week basis. Where classes are offered multiple times per week you are free to choose any day. Remember to book your class to ensure there is space.
60 minute classes: Indoor Rowing only
30 minute classes: Stretch & Mobility only
Roll-Over Option for missed classes: If you cannot make your usual day of the week or if a class is cancelled or not offered on a particular day of the week that you usually attend, there are often other classes you can choose to use up your credit for that week. If you are unable to use up the credit for the week, you may ‘roll over’ the missed class for up to two weeks and take any other same-category class in the next two weeks. So even if you have a 1x/wk pass, you may attend 2x/wk using the roll-over option.
To ensure a roll-over option is available to you, you must cancel your booking in the class at least 12 hours prior to the class so that the class credit is not used.
Statutory Holidays: Usually these land on Mondays, which puts those who usually attend on Mondays at a disadvantage. We have thought long and hard about this and explored many options to make this work for clients. Our solution is three fold:
1. Book into another class in the same category the week of a Stat Holiday – try something new, or try a new time/day to use up your credit.
2. Roll-Over Option. You may use a missed class due to a Stat Holiday as a roll-over and attend any other class in the same category in the next two weeks as described in the Roll-Over Option above.
3. If you are not able to book into another class or use the roll-over option, you will be given a class credit (expiry 1 year) to use at a later date.
Aquatherapy Small Group:
The Aquatherapy Small Group is sold as a 2-month session. This session is prorated for those starting part way through the 2 month period.
Missed or Client-Cancelled classes within an Aquatherapy Session: Regardless of the reason for missing a class, the class fee is not refundable.
A client may use the “Roll-Over” Option (see description above) within 3 weeks following the missed or client-cancelled class, even if it means attending twice during one week and/or attending a class in the next session. This is effectively an opportunity to ‘make up’ a class that you have not been able to attend. If the client is unable or does not wish to make up the class, a HOLD FEE will apply to maintain the client’s spot in the class. With the ‘Hold Fee’, the client’s entrance fee into the facility ($12 + GST) is returned to the client and can be used toward their next purchase. The client is responsible for paying the Hold Fee ($23 + GST) for the price of the Amaze class to hold their spot in the class. Regardless of the reason for missing a class, this Hold Fee is not refundable.
